Israel and Yehodaya

The State of Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people, enshrining their right to self-determination and prosperity. Israel’s resilience, success, and international standing are cornerstones of the Jewish people’s continued existence. The establishment of Yehodaya is not intended to replace or weaken Israel, but to provide the Jewish people with a complementary avenue for development.

In a changing world, the ability of a nation facing existential threats to preserve itself lies partly in its capacity to diversify the foundations of its continued existence. Thus, while Israel is the national and historical home of the Jewish people, Yehodaya will offer an alternative to life in the Diaspora, based on a structural and ideological model different from that of Israel.

A fundamental difference between the two states is that Israel, the nation-state of the Jewish people, is located in the Promised Land and operates according to a model that is essentially social democratic. Yehodaya’s vision focuses on creating a state founded on a Jewish identity combined with the principles of classical libertarianism, complete separation between religion and state, an entirely free market, and geographical flexibility.

Yehodaya will seek a relationship of strategic partnership with Israel and will work to strengthen its diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties with Israel and world Jewry, based on the understanding that multiple centers of Jewish strength offer the best means of securing the Jewish people’s long-term future.
