Equality before the law, due process and legal capacity

  • Every citizen, permanent resident, and other resident of Yehodaya is equal before the law. No legal privilege shall be granted, and no discriminatory obligation shall be imposed, on the basis of origin, race, sex, or religious denomination.
  • Every person has an inviolable right to a fair, public, and expeditious legal process.
  • Every person shall be presumed innocent until proven guilty before a competent court of law.
  • No search, detention, or seizure of property shall take place without a reasoned judicial warrant based upon reasonable suspicion.
  • Protection of minors and vulnerable persons: The full exercise of property rights, contractual rights, and the right to carry weapons shall be subject to legally defined standards of adulthood and legal capacity, as determined by the Sanhedrin, solely for the purpose of protecting minors and vulnerable persons from exploitation and without diminishing their natural rights to life, dignity, and liberty.
