The People - The Sovereign

The people are sovereign. Their participation in government will be expressed through:

• Electing the President, who heads the executive branch.
• Electing the members of the Sanhedrin, the legislative branch.
• Electing the judges of the Constitutional Court.
• Electing the comptrollers of the Constitutional Court and the Comptroller of the Sanhedrin.
• Approving amendments and additions to the Constitution by referendum.
• Voting by referendum on matters of substantial national, governmental, social, or economic significance.

State Institutions and the System of Government

Yehodaya will be a democratic state with a Jewish identity, founded on the principles of classical liberalism.

At the top of its legal hierarchy will stand the Bill of Rights. Beneath the Bill of Rights will stand a liberal Constitution, followed by the laws of the state and, at the lowest level, Presidential Regulations.

The system of government will be based on the following institutions:

• The Legislative Branch: The Sanhedrin.
• The Executive Branch: President, vice President & Government.
• The Judicial Branch.
• The Auditing Branch.
