State institutions

The Sanhedrin — The Legislative Branch

• The Sanhedrin shall enact laws consistent with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, oversee the government, and approve senior appointments within the security establishment.
• It shall consist of 72 members elected in direct, personal elections, each serving a single six-year term.
• Candidates may receive private donations only, subject to a fixed contribution ceiling.

The Presidency — The Executive Branch

• The President shall head the Executive Branch and shall be elected directly by the people for a single six-year term.
• The President shall have the authority to issue temporary regulations, subject to review by the Constitutional Court.
• Government ministers shall be professionals appointed by the President and confirmed by the Sanhedrin.

The Judiciary

• The Constitutional Court: The Constitutional Court shall be the sole authority empowered to interpret the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and to invalidate laws that conflict with them.
• Ordinary Courts: Ordinary courts shall adjudicate criminal, civil, and security matters.

The Oversight Branch

• Auditors shall be appointed to oversee the Sanhedrin, the Constitutional Court, and the ordinary courts.
• The Sanhedrin shall serve as the oversight authority over the President and the government.
• The Oversight Branch shall have the authority to initiate proceedings that may lead to the removal from office of an officeholder who has failed in the performance of their duties.
